The San Jose School of Highland Dancing presents:

The Celtic Year

A Dance for Every Season

Join us on an enchanting journey in Scottish music and dance through the seasons of The Celtic Year where Druids steer the year forward to the harmonies of the highland pipes and drums. Dancers portray the ancient festivals in choreographies and traditional Scottish highland and country dances set to new and old music, and fairies are seen at Beltane and goblins come out at Samhain

San Jose School of Highland Dancing

The San Jose School of Highland Dancing was founded in the 1960's by Norine Harmon who retired in December of 2005. The school was relocated to Campbell and re-opened in January of 2006, ensuring that the Scottish Highland dance tradition continued in the San Jose area.

The school's dancers compete at Scottish/Highland games at the local, regional and national level. Dancers also enjoy performing at festivals, parties, parades and demonstrations.
